Prompt on arrival and clear on how long they'll take to get you ready. So your schedule won't be disturbed. While doing the makeup, she gave me a step by step run down of what she's doing and why. What I loved the most was how clean the makeup looked in the end (as I opted for a natural look). The wedding was planned in March and it couldn't happen due to lockdown. I had called her earlier to convey the same.When I called her few days back to request for refund, the kind of mental trauma that I had to go through couldn't be explained in words.She considers it as a business only and had no empathy towards customers.I was appalled by the tone and the uncaring attitude she threw at me.After 45 min of embarrassment, she refunded 75% and held back the remaining 25% for no service that she provided , called it as blocking fees and mocked at me for requesting the refund.Money was definitely not a concern but her attitude is definitely a concern.We haven't met her and she hasn't connected with us more than twice and we haven't availed any service from her before the wedding. I am writing this as a word of caution to all who expect some ethics in service to stay away from such folks.

Prior to booking, we had a trial session, where she provided a lot of helpful tips on skincare, where to rent jewellery, etc. She was very helpful throughout the months before the wedding, and even had a call with me (I was based in the US) a few weeks before the wedding to confirm the final makeup and hairstyle looks and mapped out a thorough schedule. On the day of the functions, Nandhini and her friend arrived on time, completely prepared with all their equipment. She was recommended as someone who was budget-friendly (in a market where make-up artists charge crazy amounts without being transparent about the 'why') but also easy to work with. I was on the lookout for make-up artists for quite some time for my engagement in September and the first person I had enquired was Nandini. I had made general queries on the same, with many other MUAs as well, since I was coordinating everything from outside of India. Nandini was, from the starting, someone easy to communicate to and was super friendly in our initial conversations itself, thus I decided to go ahead with her and got myself to Chennai probably 2 weeks before my engagement. I met up with her for a trial session with my sarees and from the smallest of things, as to where her studio was to the kind of shades that would look good for the eyes and the kind of skincare regime I had to follow up till the engagement and on a very specific checklist, she was absolutely helpful! I even got myself to go sit for a cupping session which Nandini had recommended and was super sweet to even call up the clinic and notify them. Nandini took in the sarees and ironed, pleated and folded way and I got them along with me on my travel day. Engagement day and she and her super lovely sister got themselves to the venue without any major hassle, got their rest and set out to work. I got myself late for my makeup, which I felt guilty for, knowing the kind of pressure they had to work under but I was amazed as to how calm Nandini worked under pressure, all the while holding conversations and getting everything done, one by one. She was swift, nimble and quick to think and I personally felt so, so comfortable working with her, every single minute. Her techniques are top class, she knows what she is doing and strives for perfection with whatever she does. She can work past all hurdles, keeps her cool and is highly motivated. The kind of drive she has for her work is unmatchable and I was amazed watching her work. I did not go in with any looks that I had wanted, I simply went with the flow since I really wanted to know her opinions and ideas on what would look good and I was completely happy with the outcome! The only thing which I had asked her for was a fishtail braid and she happily made that happen too, I was gushing over my hair for quite a few days. The crimping was not visible at all and I absolutely loved how it turned out in the pictures 🥰 Thanks Nandini for being a part of my big day. For someone as young and as spirited as her, she has miles to go and places to be. I might have met her as my make-up artist, but now I look to her as a friend of mine and someone who's going to make it big! Cannot wait to have you for my wedding as well ♥️

I booked Nandhini for my engagement event. One thing that you rarely find in many of the established makeup artist now a days is the personal touch and guidance into every step and detail (jewels, Parlour activity, skin care ,etc) of the whole process of looking good on the D' day. But she is all of it and even more. Adding to it she is reachable almost all the time and very responsive, which will definitely keep you at peace with respect to makeup. On the day of the event she did an amazing job even though the time was short. Also, the second saree change was quite fast and was even able to take pictures before being called. For the cost she charges and the quality of work, I personally feel she is best choice I made for my event. In short I would say she is a pro in what she does and you can blindly trust her for your event.

Nandhini did my wedding makeup and she was recommended by two of my friends who had makeup done by her. Right from the trial to the wedding, she was amazing! She clearly understood what I wanted and was very sweet to accommodate all my requests and changes. She was on time, did the makeup and hair and made me look like me on the important day. Professional artist. My makeup was not bad but definetely I did not see the results as mentioned in other reviews through which I called the artist. Trial makeup was better than actual. The fake eye lashes peeled off midway during the event. Eye makeup was not neat and that reflected in pictures. I had an orange tint added to my face. The event was engagement. May be better makeup is done for weddings.

Thank you so much for making me look so pretty on my wedding and reception. Many known bridal makeup artist are just a scam now and money minded. But Nandhini actually does care about brides. You can get a better idea on a trial makeup with her and on your wedding you get the best. Ignore the negative comments. You can see for yourself on the trail makeup session. Highly recommended!!!

I saw amazing ratings for Nandhini and decided to book her for my engagement. She’s very kind to approach and work with. But everything did not go all that rosy. She arrived 30 minutes late for the event. She quickly managed to do the make up and hair but the truth is the final product was extremely unsatisfactory. I felt the make up was overdone and I expressed it. I was told that it would look good in the camera so I believed that. A few days after I received the pictures from photographers my worst nightmare came true. The make up was so flat on my face. There was visible colour difference between my face and neck. She did not put make-up on my neck or back. The choice of foundation was too light for my skin tone. Which was only more lighter with the flash. My hair was extremely disappointing. I could see extremely frizzy hair-do in every picture. My friends refrained from commenting just to not upset me. The photographer later told me she had to work a lot on the photographs on my face and hair to make it a bit ok. Overall the make-up artist lacked understanding of my skin and hair type. When I expressed my feedback she only got defensive saying she did great job. I’m extremely disappointed on how I looked on my big day.

I would say Miss Chuckle by Nandini is the best makeup artist i have seen so faar! So professional at such a young age!! Flattered! She bought the best in me and what a character!! So friendly,flexible and most of all so much of patience! The makeup she used is top branded that i have only heard of. Perfection at its peak! I would say she is rather my friend than an artist! Extreme satisfaction and would definately would love to do a makeover again in the near future!
