Disastrous Experience: Unprofessional Makeup Artist Ruined My Wedding Day I booked Shweta after seeing all these good reviews and checking her insta profile but my experience was horrible. I still don’t know if Shweta Aggarwal actually did my makeup or if she sent her trainee instead. As a bride, your wedding day is meant to be one of the most magical and memorable days of your life. However, my experience with Shweta turned into a nightmare. Firstly, punctuality is key for any professional, especially on such an important day. However, Shweta was shockingly late, leaving me and my bridesmaids anxiously waiting for more than an hour. This delay caused unnecessary stress and threw off our entire schedule, leaving little time for other preparations. I told her I need to get ready by 7PM and she arrived at 5:45PM. I arrived after 10pm at the location, I couldn’t even get proper bridal pictures taken. I explicitly informed her 3 times that because of her my schedule got delayed but instead of apologizing for her tardiness, she seemed indifferent to the inconvenience she had caused. As she began her work, it became apparent that her skills were severely lacking. Her application was amateurish and sloppy. I looked nothing like the vision I had discussed with her. Moreover, her pace was excruciatingly slow, further exacerbating our time constraints and leaving us feeling rushed. The entire experience was a complete disappointment. Instead of feeling confident and radiant, I was left feeling self-conscious and unhappy with my appearance. And my makeup started bleeding after a few hours. She didn’t even use under eye patches while applying eyeshadow, they looked grey and when I asked her for the same she kept repeating that she’ll fix it at the end which she didn’t btw. I strongly advise any future brides to steer clear of Shweta. Her lack of professionalism, poor skills, and tardiness could turn what should be a dream day into a nightmare. Save yourself the anguish and find a makeup artist who truly values their clients and takes pride in their work. Last but not the least, she was quite jolly and helpful when we talked on calls but she was the exact opposite of it when we met in person on the day of my wedding. It was my mistake that I didn’t ask her for her ID; she looked nothing like she does in her display picture. Few days after the wedding I pinged her to share pictures that she clicked of me, I did not get any response and she blocked me as well.

Shweta with her team, made me look and feel absolutely beautiful on all my wedding festivities. Her talent and skill in creating a minimal makeup look aligned perfectly with what I had envisioned for myself. I was initially quite apprehensive about makeup, but she completely understood my concerns and surpassed all expectations. She was extremely patient, understanding, professional.
