If I were to describe my wedding experience in just a few words, they would be comfort, happiness, warmth and peace. It was like a Day-Dream for me really! My husband @sameersachdev wanted to have a simple wedding with minimum gathering while I had always dreamt of having a Day wedding at some nice location overlooking mountains and river. The Pandemic seemed like a blessing in disguise for us. Due to Corona restrictions, we had to push our wedding dates quite a few times and then eventually we decided to have an intimate wedding on Feb 16th of this year and Thank God we did!As it turns out, Feb 16th was the only date available for wedding at Aloha on the Ganges. It was all booked for other wedding dates. Being born and brought up in Rishikesh, I have always admired the views offered by this resort hotel. The wedding stands out as one of the very few experiences you will spend months or even years preparing for. And where you choose the timing of your day and the entirety of events to coincide exactly with the wedding of your dreams. This place had everything that I imagined for my wedding, from the mountains at the backdrop to river flowing by the side, to the beautiful wedding decor and the humble staff who made my day special. Everything went as planned, couldn’t have asked for better. Blessed 😇
