This is a feedback coming from a wedding that was recently organized at this venue, I was the groom. We had an extremely bad experience overall at this venue. Initially, the hotel management was cooperative, super-friendly, and promised many things, later backtracking on them as the wedding approached. These promises included free guest parking, an extensive food menu within a certain price range, and no need for special music licensing. We trusted their word, but just 25 days before the wedding, they started requesting special licenses and significantly reduced the menu options. It was too late to find another venue, so we were forced to agree to their demands, including additional charges for the food menu. This led to frantic last-minute dashes to government offices for licenses, despite the hotel sending one staff member to assist us (who, unfortunately, was unfamiliar with the process). This was absolutely torturous at the tail end of our wedding planning, when we should have been enjoying the excitement of the upcoming event. Looking back, it's clear that delaying important discussions (like the food menu and licenses) until the last minute was a deliberate tactic to lock us in, leaving us with no choice but to agree to their terms. To add to this, our decorator reported hostility from venue staff and even claims of royalty demands (though I can't confirm this). They hampered the decorator's work with restrictions on working hours and wiring placements, ultimately compromising the décor and wasting our investment. During the wedding itself, the check-in process was uncooperative for some guests. Last-minute demands for extra payment due to double occupancy in twin rooms caused us considerable embarrassment. Throughout the Sangeet celebration, hotel staff constantly interrupted, harassing us with warnings about sound levels and closing times despite our valid licenses. When confronted, they denied sending anyone.Room service was terrible, our guests were thirsty and couldn’t receive bottled water even after multiple requests. Throughout the Sangeet celebration, hotel staff constantly interrupted, harassing us with warnings about sound levels and closing times despite our valid licenses. When confronted, they denied sending anyone. The only positive note was the good quality of the food. I also appreciate gestures like assigning rooms close to the venue and decorating the bride and groom's room. However, these pale in comparison to the mental anguish we endured in the lead-up to the wedding. Coming from a family that honors agreements, we trusted the management to uphold their promises. Unfortunately, the absence of documented agreements (such as emails) allowed them to backtrack with impunity. By the end, their unreliability led us to record conversations out of sheer paranoia.I would never wish anybody to have such a bad experience during times like a wedding. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone, especially during such a momentous occasion. Save yourself the stress and choose a venue with more experience handling weddings. You won't regret it. 5 Star Rating below by Suraj Rai is a fake one, he is Amoravida Employee: https://www.linkedin.com/in/suraj-rai-78292255/?originalSubdomain=in
