Disappointing Wedding Experience at Aura I was thrilled to plan my wedding in my hometown, Bangalore, and envisioned a beautiful, nature-filled celebration. Aura, an event venue, seemed to perfectly fit the bill. However, the reality of my experience was far from the dream I had hoped for. From the outset, communication with the management was a significant challenge. I struggled to connect consistently with the manager, receiving inconsistent responses to my requests. Despite these initial concerns, I proceeded based on the perceived quality of the decoration planners and the assurances of Kenneth. Unfortunately, the actual wedding day was plagued with issues: 1. Accommodation Shortcomings: The resort lacked sufficient rooms to comfortably accommodate all of my guests, and they were unable to provide assistance with nearby hotel accommodations. Room check-in and check-out times were a disaster. The resort adhered to standard hotel timings (3 PM check-in, 11 AM check-out), which was completely inappropriate, especially considering my muhurtham was at 12 noon. I had to request guests to check out early, which was inconvenient for them. 2. Transportation Difficulties: The provided buggy service was unreliable, frequently running out of battery or lacking available drivers, causing significant inconvenience for my guests. The event space and rooms were also located very far apart, making it difficult to manage logistics. 3. Ceremony Space Limitations: For the Hindu wedding ceremony, the mandap was far too small to comfortably accommodate more than four people and direction placement was bad, it wasn’t proper North East setup. 4. Floating Deck Chaos: Opting for the floating deck created significant chaos and mismanagement. There was a lack of assigned personnel to assist and guide guests. As a result, many guests were unable to access the deck, and ultimately could not see the bride and groom or offer their blessings, causing disappointment. 5. Poor Management: The management failed to assign a competent manager to oversee the event. The assigned manager, Sunil, was inexperienced, failed to follow up on my requests, and lacked the ability to properly coordinate payments or connect me with the correct contacts. Conclusion: While Aura might be suitable for day outings or smaller events like Haldi and Sangeeth, it is absolutely not worth the time or money for a Hindu wedding or any multi-day event requiring significant accommodation and logistical coordination. Overall, my experience was very disappointing, and I would not recommend this venue for a wedding.

Being Located behind PES college hosakerehalli it’s easily accessible. Parking space is huge. Food is tasty . Rooms are very well maintained. Worth a shot if you’re planning to throw a party

Muhurtham in the lawn area, lakeside, 730am: 400 people Services used: Venue and event planning From when I had first set my eyes on this venue in Jan 2023, I knew I wanted this to be my wedding location. Aura offers everything you can want in a venue. - Lush greenery - Private Lake - Boat entry for the couple/ bride - Comfortable villas, suites and chalets to accommodate wedding party - An incredible event manager: Prashanth! Our sangeeth event was in the glasshouse and lit up with fairy lights, it looked absolutely incredible! It comfortably fit 200-250 people and there was ample space for the dance floor, stage, round tables and buffet. The glasshouse gives an extremely elegant vibe to the venue and is nothing like we had seen in other venues. Just to mention though that it is perfect for use in the evening however, during the day it can get quite warm especially in summer months if the ceiling is not covered. Our muhurtham was like a fairytale. We had minimal decor but the venue just speaks for itself! Lush greenery with tall trees and the backdrop of a serene lake gave the whole wedding very dreamy vibes. All of our guests immensely enjoyed and complimented our choice of venue. Guests can have a walk around the area during the wedding and truly have an enjoyable time as it is a vast property. Special mention to the boat entry!! This was easily the highlight of our wedding. There was a bridal entry via the boat and it was an incredibly special moment for everyone. This is an incredibly unique selling point for this venue, we saw 8 other venues and none of them offered anything like this! Also, another special mention to Prashanth! Since Day 1, he guided us with decor ideas, gave us references of vendors and most importantly, was extremely communicative so we were always kept in the loop. Even on the day, he managed the entire show very smoothly and was just a call away for anything. The whole staff at Area 83 were extremely polite and helpful. They were very speedy with providing us any help we needed while we stayed there. I have attended weddings at various resorts/ venues around Bangalore but Aura truly stands out for its lush greenery, boat entry and seamless event management team! HIGHLY Recommend them for your wedding!!

Not a place to do any wedding or conduct any event because staff here is pathetic.Hospitality is not worth the money at this venue.I will not even suggest for a one day stay as well.Weddings are special event and the reception mangers , restraunt staff all are erogant full of wrong attitude.I recommend all the readers please do not book this venue for any of your special events.

Area83 is an ideal venue for a memorable and enjoyable wedding not only for the invitees but also for the Bride and Bridegroom. Me being the bridegroom enjoyed moving around this beautiful lake side venue and meeting with the guest and totally feasting on the vast spread of food stalls at the various locations. They also have a large football ground with flood light which is perfect for stage performances. Everyone who have visited Area83 for our wedding did mentioned that they feel they are in a forest setup with lust greenery and a serene lake. Area83 is not only the best place for weddings but also for Pre wedding functions. soon after my wedding my relative did his pre wedding function at Area83 and was extremely satisfied and thankful to me for referring Area83.

Hosted my wedding here in December 2019. It is by far the best wedding venue I’ve come across in Bangalore. It has its own private water body and also surrounded by lots of trees. It’s very well maintained and the staff was very cooperative. Would certainly recommend this place for events.

We chose Area 83 for our lakeside wedding in the afternoon on December 2019 and everything was just incredible! From the first time that we laid our eyes on the venue, we were sold. There was magic in the air - perfect Bangalore weather, lush greenery in and around, clean lawn spaces, picturesque scene of the lake and great staff! People often ask us what was the best part about our wedding day and for both of us the best part about the day was that we didn’t worry about anything. Their operation is smooth and slick and the co-ordination they have with their staff and vendors is amazing. It was an incredible feeling to know that we could relax and enjoy our day knowing everything was going smoothly and our guests were all enjoying themselves. We never had to keep track of time. On the day of the ceremony, We were surrounded by our chosen wedding photographers and the setting and décor were perfect. Such exquisite surroundings are a photographers’ dream and the preview of some of our wedding photos are truly stunning in this venue. Moreover, neither us nor the guests were confined to the stage or the seating area. There was ample space and numerous scenic pockets within the space for all of us to enjoy. Reflecting back on our special day we wouldn’t change a single thing. The venue was stunning, the staff were amazing and looked after us so well the whole day. All our guests had wonderful things to say. They commented on how unique and special our wedding venue was. They said that the food was exquisite, the venue and the attention to detail was impeccable and that it was by far the best wedding they had ever been to.
