I was in touch with Mr. Syed for all my arrangements. Let me start with my Overall Experience. It was Neutral but in the back of my mind i am feeling disappointed. The first thing that i did was to check the location and venue physically. The venue was good but i was not very confident about the location. This venue is way inside a 10ft. Road where there were 4 banquet halls before this. On the day of my wedding, it was a horrible experience for me and my guest as the road was jammed. Mr. Syed said that it won't be much of a problem when i talked to him in the beginning but it didn't happen well. For me, considering the venue, rent was okay and Mr. Syed felt accommodating to most of my queries. I was able to negotiate with him well for most of my stuff which includes Per Plate Cost, Band Baza, Anchor, etc. The surprise came when i get to know later that i was not allowed to get my arrangements for Screen, Entry (Dry Ice, Fireworks, Paper Blast), etc. from Outside. I was getting everything cheap outside but he didn't allow me to get my arrangements from outside except the screen for which i already paid the advance. Even for food, he will not allow any external caterer. You have to opt for his catering only, which is again a waste of money since we can have more flexibility and savings from outside. The Venue Rent is inclusive of Decoration which he said will give best and i will like it. But when i visited a few days before my marriage to check the type of decoration, i was completely upset. It was so basic that i felt that i am overpaying for what i am getting. Even other clients whose wedding is scheduled later complained the same. He said he'll make the changes and modifications as per my suggestions. I suggested him some designs for stage, lawn and mandap. But on the day of the wedding he gave me what he felt was right. He was supposed to give me the original flower decorated mandap instead he gave me an artificial+original flower(most were artificial) of his choice of colour. Every time I asked him to do some heavy decoration he said he'll talk to the decorator and ultimately nothing happen. Not a single thing happened as per my choice. He is making money by decorating once and keeping it for all the wedding but charging the same huge amount from each customer. These things degraded my experience. On the wedding day, apart from horrible traffic jams on the road to this venue, i got to know that he didn't serve Kulcha, Ice Cream, Sweet Corn Soup and Served Tomato Soup instead of Hot & Sour Soup which was part of the Menu. It was our mistake that we didn't check but he didn't serve which was cheating. There was a shortage of Dahi Wada in spite of more than 90 plates being unused. Second cheating happened during the groom and bride entry. He didn't allow us to get the arrangements from outside and charged us 10000 more than what i was getting from outside. The deal was to give me exactly the same things at extra cost that I am getting from outside but he skipped dry ice on the entry which i told him 4 hours before our baraat which he agreed for. Waters were not served as the baraat reached the gates. They gave it upon asking. Also we get some rooms booked for our guests from him. He said that the guys will look after everything like water, etc. but we have to tell them everything every time. He didn't give us the service for the amount he charged. Other goof ups were : Screen Not Tested for Audio. After Jaimala, everyone has to wait for more than 5min for a technical glitch to resolve. The complimentary SUV he provided to move our guests to and fro from hotel to wedding venue also broke down and our guests had to be sent via cabs. My Recommendation, please repost this everywhere and AVOID this Venue and their service. A lot of money wasted. Somewhat i have a disappointing experience.
