I am writing to provide detailed feedback regarding our wedding at Golden Palm Resort, which was held in January this year. Unfortunately, the experience we had was far from what we expected, and I feel compelled to share the issues we encountered, hoping they will be addressed to prevent future disappointments for other couples. To begin with, the communication leading up to the wedding was poor and disorganized. We had multiple pre-wedding meetings with your team, but many of our concerns and requests were either ignored or forgotten. When we arrived, it became clear that many of the arrangements we had agreed upon had not been properly communicated to the relevant staff. This lack of coordination resulted in unnecessary stress and confusion for both us and our guests. The most concerning aspect of our experience was the subpar service we received throughout our stay. The staff was very arrogant, rude, appeared overwhelmed and underprepared. Several times, we had to wait an unacceptable amount of time for basic requests to be addressed. This was especially frustrating during the wedding itself when certain elements were delayed, such as the arrival of the officiant and the setup of the ceremony space, which had not been completed on time despite our clear instructions. The food, which was an essential part of our celebration, was another significant disappointment. We had high expectations based on the initial menu tasting, but the quality of the meals on the wedding day did not come close to what we had agreed upon. The dishes were either cold, overcooked, or poorly seasoned. Several guests commented on the food quality, which made us feel embarrassed and frustrated. This was not the standard we had envisioned for such an important occasion. Additionally, the overall cleanliness of the resort left much to be desired. The bathrooms were often in disarray, and the public areas were not consistently maintained. This lack of attention to detail was concerning, especially for a venue that bills itself as a luxury destination. The overall execution and level of service were incredibly disappointing. We had high hopes for our wedding day, and unfortunately, many of the issues we faced overshadowed what should have been one of the happiest days of our lives. It was especially disheartening considering the premium price we paid for the venue and services. We hope that you will take this feedback seriously and take the necessary steps to improve the quality of service, food, and overall guest experience at your resort.
