Event Review: Birthday Celebration for Maanvik & Tanishi on 14th June 2025 at Marina Dreams Banquet (First Floor) I am writing this review to share a deeply disappointing experience we had during our event hosted at Marina Dreams Banquet. Despite several commitments made by the team during the booking process, the execution on the day of the event was shockingly unprofessional and far from acceptable. Key Issues Faced: Air Conditioning Failure We had booked the hall for 125–150 guests, but actual attendance was under 100. Despite this, the air conditioning was completely non-functional. Guests were visibly uncomfortable, with several children under the age of 2 left in just vests due to the heat. We raised the issue multiple times with Ms. Neetu, Ms. Simran (Booking Coordinators), and Mr. Diwan (Floor Manager), but were only given vague assurances to "wait 10 minutes." Eventually, they stopped answering our calls altogether. Inadequate and Untrained Staff Our agreement included 12–15 waiters. However, only 7–8 untrained individuals were present. Their lack of basic knowledge was evident—they failed to light the candle on the cake or distribute it to guests, resulting in the wastage of our 12 kg cake. No cake knife was provided; we had to use the wooden knife that came with the cake from the bakery. Overpriced and Coercive Décor Services The venue pushes their in-house décor vendor, whose prices are nearly five times the market rate. If you choose an external decorator, they begin withholding basic services. For instance, we were denied access to a microphone for the anchor, with the excuse that it wasn’t requested in advance. Despite repeated requests, we were again told to "wait 10 minutes" every half hour—yet no mic was ever arranged. Poor Hygiene and Cleanliness The washrooms were dirty throughout the event, with no staff present to clean them. The drinks counter was unhygienic and had visible cobwebs. Substandard DJ Setup The DJ floor was old, damaged, and poorly maintained—made of unstable wooden boards where guests almost tripped. The DJ appeared unprofessional, lacked basic equipment like headphones, and was unable to mix tracks properly. Payment Concerns and Attitude The team insisted on full advance payment. We were warned that failure to do so would result in no one clearing used plates during the event. However, once paid, the staff stopped responding to complaints and were completely indifferent to our concerns. Final Words of Caution: The individuals mentioned—Neetu, Simran, and Diwan—did not honor their commitments and showed a lack of responsibility during a very important family event. I strongly urge others to exercise caution before booking with Marina Dreams Banquet.

The best venue I had ever been to. This was the venue for my cocktail night and I was so impressed with how the decor turned out to be. The flowers they used were so pretty.

Very very poor service and mainly all the staff are blackmailers and cheaters. Only provide 50% items they promise or shown in menu. Then in between they say "Hame paise chahiye warna hum khana band kar rahe hain" aur AC toh chalate hi nahi hain. They promise us to give their hall at 4:00PM but till 8:00PM they dont give any hall any service all our guests stands outside the MErina dreams.

We hosted our wedding functions. It has such a nice open area which is a perfect fit for such functions. And we had a very fine experience at the venue. The arrangements in terms of food, decor and service were so nicely done.

We hosted our engagement here at this venue. It's a really good venue to host small and large gatherings. The food and decor was really good and just how we had anticipated it to be. The management was really nice as well. Recommended .

Marina Dreams was my wedding venue. It was really good the planning, decoration and also the food. We requested them to make food without onion. It was still very tasty and none of guests realized it that the dishes were made without any onion.
