A caution from my side. These people are quite unprofessional. For my daughter’s wedding on Feb 22, 2023, I had booked the venue and paid them advance on Oct 15, 2022. I started planning and arranging the rest of the things. However, on Oct 21, 2022, I received a call from Oranan apologizing that they have made a mistake and had recorded my booking for Feb 21 rather than 22 and since they have another booking on Feb 22, 2023, I need to change my function date or take a refund. I pleaded that the change of date is not possible. They stated that in that case their is no option but to take a refund. They refused to compensate me in any way though admitted that had this cancellation been from my side, my advance deposit would have been forfeited. Ultimately, I had to take the refund which was credited to my account a week later. I am quite certain that they had cancelled my booking to accommodate a preferred client as I did mention the date of the function and halls booked on the reverse of my check. Copies attached. So beware.
