Resort’s location is good. It is located in peaceful natural surroundings. The resort’s food and hospitality is good. I had my wedding here, the experience was decent but not as promised. After booking the venue, we were not able to get hold of the sales manager. We had to put a lot of effort in communication for wedding arrangements and getting our needs sorted. After charging 80% of the total amount upfront before check-in for decorations and other arrangements, they were not as per stated in the service contract.

I had my wedding at Alaya Resorts in February 2022. There are both pros and cons: Pros: As a resort, their services were good. Food and housekeeping were very satisfactory. Cons: For the wedding their arrangements were pathetic. I was disappointed by the decorations as they were not what they had promised and charged hefty amount. The mandap which they promised and what was delivered as shown in the picture. There were huge differences in the promised and actual ones for all the events. They promised to have 30% real flowers and 70% artificial but there were no real flowers at all. All were artificial. Their music system for the sangeet ruined the whole event. It was so faulty that music used to stop in between and guests were not able to perform. They promised to have a seamless experience for the wedding as they will plan everything but my family had to coordinate for each and everything. Even for small things like getting seating arrangements done in the hall had to be followed up multiple times. There were also delays in the delivery, the varmala delivery was delayed by 2 hours which further caused delay in the whole program. While planning the wedding their sales manager was not proactive. We used to follow up multiple times to get things done. They dragged till last week of wedding to finalize the things and started asking for additional charges even for petty things like small poster prints for events. All this made our overall experience very unpleasant.
