We were invited to afternoon tea here, as the beginning of a wedding celebration. We were a bit nervous, as we were traveling from Mumbai, with a lot of luggage and a toddler in tow and not staying there. We just stayed at a Taj, so I shouldn't have been surprised, but they were expecting us when we drove up and we're ready to check our bags. In addition, and much to our disbelief, a horse drawn carriage was waiting for us to take us up the hill to the Palace. As we walked up, we could see our friends on the terrace. The next thing I knew, it was literally raining rose petal. I turned to my husband and said, "Is this really happening?" The palace, tea and staff were wonderful.
