I recently attended my brother’s engagement at PK Palace in Bhubaneswar, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. Food Taste: The food was far below expectations. The taste was bland, and several guests expressed their dissatisfaction. Given the importance of good food at an event, this was a major letdown. Stage Decoration: The stage decoration was extremely basic and did not match what was promised. Despite our specific requests, the decorator failed to deliver. The only part done well was the entrance decoration, but beyond that, everything else was disappointing. Smoke Effect: The smoke effect for the bride and groom’s entrance was also inadequate. It was barely visible and did not create the grand effect we were expecting. Engagement Setup: The most disappointing part was that there was no table provided for the engagement ring and cake, which is a very basic requirement. We had to make last-minute arrangements for this, causing unnecessary stress. Space & Management: While the hall itself is spacious, the overall execution by the contractor was poor. The lack of attention to detail and failure to meet commitments made the experience frustrating. I would not recommend PK Palace unless they improve their services significantly. If you are planning a special event, be sure to double-check all deliverables in writing to avoid last-minute disappointments.
