6 things you should know about the sparkliest wedding of the year with Swarovski crystals

  Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad is home to quite a few luxe weddings , but this particular one took sparkle to the next level . From a Swarovski crystal embellished mandap to the most gorgeous floral wall with embellished monograms, this glamorous wedding left no stone ( or should we say 'crystal' ) unturned.   Here are 6 things you should know:

#1 : Over 1.3 million Swarovski crystals were used in the decor :

These were woven into the wedding décor, right from a basic hotfix and beads to semi-finished ideas  like flower pins and crystals strings.

#2 : The Bride & Grooms initials were monogrammed in crystals:

The initials of the bride and groom in pure crystal were monogrammed and that made for a great photo-op, you won’t miss it for the world. Plus, it’s a real conversation starter!

#3: There was a floral wall, fit for a fairytale

We have seen floral walls before- you know the kinds where millions of flowers are stuck on a frame to provide a very chic backdrop for photos? Well this was a crystal flower wall, with a backdrop made of deep red roses and Swarovski crystals that glimmered and danced as the light hit the crystals    

#4 : The Mandap needs a mention

The mandap decor was another ball game altogether with 150 Swarovski crystal strands comprising of crystal beads and pearl drop tassels were hung around the mandap ceiling. The pillars of the mandap too were embellished with flatback crystals that created a beautiful petal pattern.

#5 : Heart Shaped Crystals added to the romance

Against deliciously deep red roses , heart shaped swarovski crystals were used to accentuate the wedding decor

#6 Peacocks made an appearance

That’s not it, there were the piece de resistance, four peacocks placed on all corners of the mandap that were decorated with flowers and crystal pins.  Add to that a crystal walkway, a checkered panel filled with Swarovski crystals that was lit up with LED lights that created a glam look. #7 Florals & Crystals = Winner Wondering how to add a bit of sparkle to your own wedding?
