There are so many couples off late who are choosing to get married in their own way, breaking away from what's considered the norm. Their weddings, even the ceremonies are customised as per what they want, and we are loving this new normal. Here is a couple who had a very conscious and mindful wedding, making a different in small little ways that they could. From decisions like forgoing the kanyadaan and baraat to even picking outfits which were sustainable, that can be worn again easily, Prerna and Rohan's beautiful farmhouse wedding in Karjat is a treasure trove of ideas and inspiration.

From The Bride
Our wedding took place on November 27, 2023. It was a sunset garden wedding. We planned our own wedding. We tried keeping the wedding as thoughtful and conscious as possible. It was all an extension of who we are. The gifts were designed by bride and groom. All safas and dupattas were naturally dyed with temple residual (flowers and coconuts).
