What happens when two pilots get married? An aviation themed wedding of course! And when it is a wedding as gorgeous as this one, then you have to take pointers. Ridhima and Dhruv got married at the beautiful Westin Sohna Resort & Spa, a luxurious resort nestled within tranquil surroundings. Located in the peaceful countryside of Gurgaon, this contemporary resort boasts 45 acres of lush green land and striking brick facilities. From a poolside mehendi to a grand engagement and a magical outdoor setting for the jaimala and pheras, this expansive resort had so many gorgeous venues that photographed beautifully.
A stunning setting isn't it? Ridhima and Dhruv chose this for their big day, and decked up the place to the nines for their nuptials. The wedding planning by BMP Weddings was impeccable, making the wedding shine, and how!
Meet Ridhima and Dhruv
We both are pilots so we both met cause of flying as I was joining the same airline as him. Also, Dhruv's grandfather and my father knew each other for years so while I was joining the airline, they made me speak to him for further information! We then started dating each other for 5 years before we got married.

#RiDhruvinLuv was our wedding hashtag, we got hitched on 21st Feb 2021.
The whole wedding theme especially the stationary, big itinerary and small itinerary were based of aviation and flying considering we both are pilots. We had a caricature artist and wedding hampers, which were all according to the theme. There was a sweet surprise by my brother in law Sahil on the mehendi, when he walked up to each friend to speak about both of us.

We could not have asked for a better venue than The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa. It was a beautiful setting, especially for the jaimala. The venue was very good, staff was very hospitable and the rooms are of a wide range and very spacious. Lawns were huge so every function happened in a different lawn. The food was also good. Our highlight of the wedding was their jaimala place, which made it all very dreamy. Overall a very good experience with them.
Makeup Artists
I had Looks by Sneha for the Mehendi. She is an amazing makeup artist. Samaira Sandhu was the MUA for the engagement, and she made me look like a princess with the whole tiara and all, I personally love her as a whole personality, she really helped coming on board last minute. Amrit Kaur for my MUA for the wedding day. She’s one of the best make up artist this country has, she made me look like a dream on my wedding- she had worked on each n every deet of my look from hair to draping.

Bmp Weddings did a really good job with the stationary and lot of things, they made my wedding a fairytale for sure.
Decor: Q Events by Geeta Samuel
Decor was one of the highlights of my wedding, I think Geeta Aunty is one of the best we have! From an island bar to mandap to garden of love etc , I cant just stop drooling over the decor, She's truly a Boss lady and equally so humble!
Bridal Outfits
My Mehendi outfit was by Liz Paul. She made me look the most colorful muse ever as the outfit was customized for me. Suneet Verma was the designer for the engagement. His work is so good that I think he made me look like a princess in a fairytale. I had a Manish Malhotra lehenga for the wedding. He's the ultimate boss and he made my D-day look so unforgettable.
