2023 has been all about brides embracing white, and here is a bride who also joined the bandwagon, in her own way! Real Bride Shikha wore white too, but we loved the way she styled her look- with temple jewellery in gold and a dupatta drape that you wouldn't expect! Everything about this wedding screamed fun, and looked like it was an absolute hoot- take a look for yourself!
Meet Shikha and Dhruv
We first met in 2015 at our time at law school. Strangely enough, though we were batchmates and had a number of mutual friends, we did not interact much. There was always a mystery we had with regard to each other. A kind of respect in reciprocity.
The curiosity led us to add each other on Instagram many years later in 2020. Dhruv replied to one of the stories I posted and we instantly hit it off. Such was the attraction, that we met the next day of conversing over the social media platform and didn’t let go since. It felt like a high school romance then and still does after almost approximately three years.

From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on March 18, 2023. Our vision for the wedding was clean, crisp and neat arrangements with an attention to details and it turned out just as same. Our vendors helped our Pinterest board turn into reality. This is despite unexpected non stop rains on the wedding day- that gave us all extreme jitters. Luckily, it turned out for the best, as the rain angles brought in a pleasant evening for the guests to enjoy the outdoor soirée.
We planned our wedding through WMG app and WMG genies. Two highlights of using the WMG app- helped me stay organised with the to do trackers and lists with the timelines clearly mentioned against each on of them. Secondly, exhaustive list of vendors for anything and everything with genuine ratings and reviews. I don’t think you all know how helpful it is for brides to be to have a safe space to evaluate vendors basis past reviews and ratings. Kudos! It is a one stop solution for all your needs for wedding planning. We did not feel the need to hire a wedding planner because everything was available at the portal. The experience is seamless and the app is very interactive.

Exceptional work, punctual and puts the brides to much ease. She was a huge support especially on the wedding day when I was biting my nails due to the rains. 10/10 recommend her.
Hairstylist: Anwar Hairstylist
My hair was done by @anwarhairstylist and his works speak for himself. He’s the best in Chandigarh city and is a go to for all top MUAs. I’ve been blessed to have such an amazing team be around me through the wedding days.

We did not get to work with the name of the brand, but the team he sent for us fully met our expectations! They listened our requirements and delivered as desired. Their first cut of edits came only two days after the wedding- speaking of the dedication and efforts they had put in for us.
Decor:
Over delivered- if that is even a term, our wedding witnessed unexpected rains and our decor team had to re do all the structures in a very short window of time. Their exceptional commitment in creating the wedding of our dreams was beyond commendable. Mr Sahil did a fab job and it was appreciated by all our guests.

Unquestionably the best decision I ever made was walking into their store and buying not one but two outfits from them, from customer handling to delivery of outfits- I fully rate them and would love to go back to them.

Radheyshyam ji has been into the bridal henna industry for the last 20 years. His expertise was evident from the fact that he was able to complete my bridal henna in just three hours with absolute precision and attention to details. Not only the bride, bridesmaids and all other guests were very happy with the team's work.
