Meet Palak and Abhishek
We met in Texas A&M University while doing Master’s and both ended up getting jobs in Houston. We started hanging out more often after work. We really enjoyed each other’s company and liked doing things together like exploring H town, partying, going on trips, concerts etc.
We kind of became “one” after that and nothing has changed since then. Abhishek has been the calm to my crazy, the sanity to my insanity and we always believed in being better together. It was amazing to see two cultures culminating together in an amazing BongJabi wedding. Forever grateful and blessed ? ❤️

From The Bride:
The D Date: Feb 7, 2022. Our wedding hashtag was #BasShekPal. After multiple reschedules, we finally had a great Big fat Punjabi Wedding this year. I always wanted to do it in a Fort setting and that's why I booked my most favorite Taj Property - Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur. The Theme of our BongJabi wedding was Royal and Elegant and since Abhishek is Bengali we had a few Bengali rituals incorporated too during Haldi and Wedding which were exciting to watch:)

Right from the beginning (Sales phase) till the post production support, they are extremely helpful. You have to hire them for your BIG DAY!!

The hotel, staff, the people are great. Must recommended. It is the most ideal property to do a wedding in if you want a fort-turned hotel themed grand wedding. Each and every staff member involved was amazing and super helpful since the beginning to the end.

She is a beautiful soul inside and out. She is amazing at her craft and did the make up of my mom and myself very adeptly. Highly recommended!
Wedding Planning: Konark Events
They are very resourceful in planning and decor. Their USP has to be a wonderful and elegant themed decor. They were super patient and helpful throughout the process. I vouch for their team big time!!
They are one of the best decor providers in Jaipur and they work PAN India. Do hire them if you want a nice, beautiful, organized and quick turnaround.
Bridal Outfits
For Mehendi - I wore Rimple and Harpreet. Akanksha helped me through the process as I was doing everything online at the time.
For Sagan, my mom and myself wore Manish Malhotra. I wore MM for my wedding too. The team is great and Gehna from the MM Mehrauli store have been my GO-TO person throughout.
