Elegant Goa Wedding By The Beach With A Gorgeous Mehendi Lehenga

The groom wanted beach, and the bride wanted the wedding to happen in India, so they both picked Goa! The bride and the groom are both Indians from Spain, but they wanted their wedding to be a celebration of 150 of their closest friends and family and Goa it was! Ria and Sammy's wedding looked like a hoot and a non-stop party, and we liked the bride's sartorial choices, picking outfits in colours that were unique and unconventional. Her mehendi lehenga from Studio Iris was a pretty pick- pastel with mirror work- two things that we love! Meet Ria and Sammy
We crossed paths in London when mutual friends asked us to join them for drinks. We both are Spanish Sindhis so I think our friends probably thought it was worth a shot! I remember thinking to myself that night that I would go only for a while because I didnt feel like socialising/meeting people. I ended up staying for hours just speaking with Sammy in the common area of my student accomodation. We connected instinctly and continued meeting every chance we got since then. I always felt 'at home' around him even though he was someone so new to me.

From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on December 6, 2022. Sammy grew up in a Spanish island called Gran Canaria so getting married by the beach was always what he wanted - he feels connected and at home. It also had to be in India - because thats where Ria grew up till she was 18 and always wanted her wedding close to home - where family is! We had a beautiful set up by the beach and our ceremony at sunset. This was followed by a spanish/western fairy tale themed reception. Our mehendi was a burst of colours and a crazy pool party! Sangeet was everything glitter and glamourous and being a dancer, the bride danced her heart out (over 15 songs!). We partied till dawn both days as our wedding was 80% young people. We had a 150 people wedding and only had people who were very close to us or were part of our love story over the last 7 years we have been together.
