Glam Mumbai Wedding for two wedding planners

Abhimanyu and Shristi planned their own wedding ( their company is called VPlan Unlimited★ 4.9 ) with an intimate pool party complete with Beer Pong Games & more ! We are majorly crushing on the red mandap made with over 50,000 roses  and the dreamy pool party with their names monogrammed on the side - all of which was captured deftly by Sonder Frames Photography. 

Meet Abhimanyu & Shristi

"The 1^st time we saw each other was 26^th July 2005, this was the day when Mumbai was completely flooded. Abhimanyu (My Husband) is my brothers best friend and they were stranded in Bandra outside MMK college. As soon as my lecture got over and I came out from the same college, I saw Abhimanyu and my brother standing there. This was the 1^st time I saw him. That day we walked back from Bandra to Andheri through the flooded roads," Shristi reminisces.

From The Bride: 

"We are wedding planners and operate under the name Vplan Unlimited. It was my dream since childhood to get married and I was dating (my husband) Abhimanyu since 9 years. We always wanted to have a fairytale wedding since we both were wedding planners and we wanted to the best for our day. We had planned everything about our wedding from the wedding cards to the décor to the entertainment. My husband wanted all the functions to feel and look different. So each function was designed and executed using different themes and colours.

Our functions started from the Youngsters Pool Party : Here we had both our names put at one side of the pool and had colourful balloons at the open area. We had games like beer pong etc. This was the only function we had in the open so we wanted to use minimum décor and just wanted to enjoy the property on the beach, as it is. 

Mehendi : Theme was totally traditional and Indian. So the décor had all the bright color drapes and marigold flowers. I always wanted a jhoola for my mehndi and had that too totally decorated with flowers and drapes. 

Cocktail Party: One of the best nights from all the wedding functions. Theme was LEDs and silver trees. Here we had a massive stage with LED screen and trees and also had a LED dance floor. The whole feel of the party was blue and silver, so we coordinated our outfits according to the theme. 

Wedding & Reception : As soon as people entered the venue all they could smell where those 50,000 red roses which were used to make our wedding mandap. And since the wedding mandap was the big star, we kept the reception stage and entrance gate simple and elegant. I entered with a floral chaddar decorated with kaleeras," added Shristi happily.
