Meet Kinjal and Nihar
“Our love story began with a bold Instagram DM—Nihar saw a Garba TikTok I’d made and declared he’d fallen in love. I had no idea who he was, but his charm and confidence caught my attention instantly. From daily FaceTimes to our first date in London filled with laughter and a surprise Bollywood quiz victory (yes, he beat me!), I knew he was the one.
Fast forward to Mexico—what I thought was a casual vacation turned into the most magical surprise. Nihar, who hates photos, claimed he’d booked a free shoot for fun. Suspicious, but I went along. After posing around the resort, we arrived at a stunning, fairy-lit setup on the beach. In front of a glowing ‘Will You Marry Me?’ sign, Nihar dropped to one knee with the most heartfelt speech. It was everything I dreamed of—pure magic", the bride tells us.
Welcome Party – A Sunset Dream in White
We kicked off our wedding celebrations with an all-white welcome party against the most breathtaking beach backdrop. This was one of my absolute favorite décor setups—a boho-chic vision brought to life with fairy lights twinkling over the soft white sand, a gorgeous dance floor set against the sunset, and our guests looking incredible in all white.
Haldi – A Wholesome, Fun-Filled Celebration
For our Haldi, we wanted to keep things traditional yet full of fun and color—and that’s exactly what we did! Surrounded by the vibrant hues of yellow, orange, and pink, with flower petals filling the air, this event was pure joy. It was one of the most wholesome moments of our wedding, being showered in love (and lots of haldi!) by our family and friends.
The Pool Party – A Carnival of Fun
Our pool party was all about fun, fun, and more fun! Inspired by the vibrancy of fun, pool party games, and lots of fun cocktails. We went all out with a carnival feel—bright colors, upbeat music, and the most electric energy from all our guests.
Sangeet – A Night of Glitz, Glam & Bollywood Magic
With a stunning purple and gold theme, shimmering décor, and crystal doves, the event was pure Bollywood magic. The highlight: our dance performances- emotional, energetic, and unforgettable. The most special moment was our sangeet. My husband, who always said he'd never dance, surprised me by not only performing but stealing the show. His joy and effort made it one of the most magical nights of our lives, and showed me just how deeply he values my happiness.
The Wedding – A Beachside Fairytale in Pink
Our wedding was everything I had ever dreamed of and more—a stunning pink floral mandap set right on the beach, with the gorgeous beach backdrop. It was beyond picturesque, with florals wrapped around the mandap, soft pink hues, and the most romantic setting imaginable. Walking down a mirror aisle, and my dream décor surrounding me, felt like something straight out of a fairytale. The entire setup was breathtaking—a picture-perfect blend of romance, grandeur, and timeless beauty. It was the wedding décor of my dreams, and seeing it come to life on our big day was one of the most surreal and unforgettable moments of my life!
The Reception – A Timeless & Elegant Black-Tie Affair
For our grand finale, we went for an ultra-classy black-tie reception with white and gold décor that was straight out of a royal wedding. From the grand floral arrangements to the elegant white draping and crystal chandeliers hanging over our dance floor, every detail was perfect. I wanted the décor to feel timeless and sophisticated, and it turned out exactly as I had envisioned—classic, chic, and absolutely breathtaking. It was the most magical way to end our wedding celebrations, dancing the night away as husband and wife, surrounded by all the people we love."
About The Wedding
Our wedding on March 2, 2025, was a true reflection of who we are- a couple that loves both Bollywood and football, sentimental yet always up for a laugh. We brought our personalities to life through every detail: a Manchester United-themed after-party for my husband, complete with jerseys and chants, and a colorful, Bollywood-inspired pool party for me. It was the perfect blend of our worlds, celebrating love through shared passions. For me, one of the most meaningful parts was curating my bridal looks. I wanted each outfit, hairstyle, and makeup moment to feel like the best version of myself. I had always dreamed of being a pink bride, but finding the perfect shade wasn’t easy, until I tried on a stunning rani pink lehenga from Kalki Fashion. It was love at first sight- elegant, glamorous, and the perfect mix of modern and traditional. When I wore it, I truly felt like the most beautiful bride. For me, bridal magic is all about feeling your absolute best, and embracing every bit of the glitz and glam along the way!

It was the perfect way to kick off our wedding celebrations, and honestly, looking back, we couldn’t have imagined saying “I do” anywhere else.

My makeup artist was an absolute dream! They completely understood my vision and brought it to life flawlessly. I felt like the best version of myself—glamorous, glowing, and still me. I couldn’t have asked for more!
