When YouTube queen and content creator Prajakta Koli decided to say I do to her childhood love, Vrishank Khanal, we knew we were in for a visual treat! And boy, did she deliver! From her effortlessly Marathi mulgi bridal vibes to the most Pinterest-worthy Haldi, every look screamed personality, tradition and modern-day chic.
Prajakta’s wedding was more than just a celeb shaadi - it was a full-blown masterclass in keeping it real, embracing tradition and looking drop-dead gorgeous while doing it. Whether it was her unconventional outfit choices, the dreamy decor, or her infectious energy, everything about her wedding felt fresh, fun and totally relatable.
And let’s not forget the best part - she had fun with it! No over-the-top, bridezilla moments here - just effortless, happy, and oh-so-aesthetic wedding goals. If you’re a bride-to-be, consider this your ultimate mood board for 2025! Let’s break it down, outfit by outfit, and soak in all the inspo she served.
Reception Night - An Ode To Their Nepali Roots
For the reception, Prajakta paid the sweetest homage to Vrishank’s Nepali roots, and we’re here for it! She ditched the usual heavy gowns and lehengas for a gorgeous handloom silk saree featuring traditional Nepali surface work - a timeless, elegant choice that totally stood out.
But the real showstopper? Her long green beaded Tilhari necklace, a sacred symbol of marriage in Nepal. Traditionally made with pote beads and a cylindrical gold pendant, the Tilhari isn’t just jewelry - it’s a sign of love, luck, and good fortune for a married couple. And honestly, we love how she made it the highlight of her look!
Vrishank, on the other hand, kept it suave yet rooted in tradition. He rocked a brown blazer over an ivory kurta set, but the real star was his Dhaka topi - a cultural must-have for Nepali grooms. Together, they looked like a perfect blend of heritage, style, and pure wedding glow.
Traditional, meaningful, and effortlessly chic - this look was a total win!
Wedding Day
For the grand finale, Prajakta and Vrishank went all in on the pastel trend, and we’re obsessed! The bride wore a customized Pichwai lehenga in a stunning sage green, featuring delicate paarijaat flower motifs - a super sentimental nod to her name.
And can we talk about the pastel chooda? Instead of the usual reds, she switched things up with a softer hue, pairing it effortlessly with Anita Dongre’s Rajasthani jewels that added just the right amount of regal charm. Also, digging the open hair with a double dupatta look. Major bridal goals, tbh!
The wedding décor was just as dreamy - all-white florals and a printed floor that made the whole setup look straight out of a modern-day fairytale. Talk about aesthetics on point!
Sangeet Night: The Ultimate Marathi Mulgi Moment
Not your usual Sangeet lehenga, Prajakta ditched the bling for a stunning traditional saree that gave full Marathi mulgi vibes. The hirva chooda, the signature nath, and her effortless styling? A total slay. This look was both bold and nostalgic, bringing the rich Maharashtrian heritage into the limelight in the best way possible. Brb, pinning this for future reference!
Haldi: Serving Serene Goddess Energy
While most brides go for a pop of yellow, Prajakta flipped the script with an all-white Haldi look that was pure elegance. She wore a white and gold sharara, keeping it minimal yet dreamy with delicate gold jewellery and the chef’s kiss of the whole look—statement white rose kaleeras.
And can we talk about her hair jewels? The dainty gold woven into her hair added that extra touch of bridal magic. Add to that the sunflower and off-white lakeside decor, and you have a Haldi straight out of a fairy tale.
Mehendi: Forest Fairy Feels
Prajakta kept it fuss-free & fabulous in a custom-made Anita Dongre skirt set in a dreamy forest green shade. The best part? No dupatta = no hassle - just easy-breezy dancing and showing off that fresh mehendi. Vrishank twinned in the best way possible, rocking a sage green silk Nehru jacket with zardozi embroidery and threadwork details. Major couple goals? Absolutely.
