Regal Delhi Wedding With A Beautifully Styled Bride!

If you know WedMeGood, you know we are always inspired by bridal details from across the border, so when this beautiful bride Akshita mentioned that she was going for a 'Pakistani' look for her wedding, we knew she is after our hearts. This pretty evening wedding with a fairy light entrance and sweet portraits is just the thing to start of this week.

"Our friends set us up in May 2015 and we hit it off instantly. Honestly, the first 2-3 months was a cat and mouse chase! After the first few months it all fell into place- I remember I called up my best friend and told her I found the one! We knew we were perfect for each other. It was just meant to be and we got married in November 2016" explains Akshita.

"I styled my wedding look all by myself. I was going for the old world charm of the Pakistani look. At first, I didn't find an outfit that fit the bill, I was really searching all over the city. But I soon found it at Rimple and Harpreet Narula. When I tried it out for the first time at their showroom in Def Col, it just felt right. Right from the outfit to the polki jewellery to the kaleeras, everything was exactly what I wanted and it was all styled together by me," adds Akshita.
"As for wedding favours that went with my invite - my parents designed the whole thing, sourced it from different places and put it all together. The colours were an English theme- there was a tray with tea from Sancha, a silver spoon and a card. But the most special thing was the fact that my engagement ring was personally designed by my husband. He got it executed from a Delhi-based karigar (Though, my husband is an architect by profession, jewellery designing is his hobby)" says Akshita.
