Sunset Wedding In Goa With Boho Decor & The Happiest Vibe!

When the bride and groom have been dating for over a decade, the wedding becomes more like a party with everyone familiar with one another! And that's exactly what the vibe of Ishna and Anmol's wedding was! From their bohemian decor with cute little additions to the bride's pretty and breezy outfit choices, their wedding had a sun kissed, happy vibe- and Oaks Wedding managed to capture it on their lens beautifully! Meet Ishna and Anmol
Anmol and I met during our undergrad college days in Delhi Technological University. We were classmates. I met him on the first day of college some 11 years ago and we bonded on our mutual love for food and our values. We were best of friends and one fine day, on a trip to McLeodganj in Himachal, we decided to date each other.
Haldi & Mehendi
I had specific ideas for my mehendi. I wanted Seattle and Delhi Skylines in my mehendi, along with the beach to represent Goa and our wedding logo
Sangeet
The theme of Sangeet was “Enchanted Forest”, so you see a lot of dark hues of green and bright whites all around. The guests were asked to wear dark colors while I, the bride, wore a beautiful, white, Seema Gujral lehenga. Anmol, the groom, surprised me with a jhakaas dance performance on all Hrithik Roshan songs as he is the bride’s childhood crush. I did a surprise performance on a BlackPink song as they are the Groom’s favourite!
Wedding
Wedding was a sundowner with ‘Boho’ theme so you will see a lot of whites integrated with pampas grass in the decor. The mandap had to be designed in a specific way so that it came through the 2 palm trees overlooking the ocean with a 40 feet long aisle. We both read our vows, which the other one had no idea about. Fun fact- I, the bride am a Kashmiri while Anmol is Punjabi. To honor my culture, Anmol learnt his vows in Kashmiri and surprised the entire crowd with it!
From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on January 21st and 20th in Goa. We wanted our wedding to be a celebration of our decade of togetherness. As a kid, I always dreamt of a sunset wedding by the beach. The wedding felt like a dream come true. We knew we wanted a wedding in Goa in hope that the calmness of this city takes over our guests and makes them fall in love with it just like we did when we first visited, 7 years ago.
“Pyaar Dosti Hai”
We used to find this quite filmy, but we have come to the conclusion that no other phrase would describe the past 10 years of our life together any better. This also poured out at the wedding- the weekend was all about love, family and friendship. Our friends and family flew down from various parts of the world to be by our side for those 3 magical days.

Venue: Beleza by the Beach
This was the perfect venue for us. It has a beachside lawn, multiple closed halls for smaller events, a small rice-paddy field side lawns etc. The food was terrific! Loved all the Goan dishes especially! The rooms are big, spacious and sparkly. The staff was so cooperative that they even stitched buttons for one of the guests who tore all his during Joota Chhupaayi!
Wedding Planning: Funktion Junction
We could not have been married without them! They were the spine of all our events, handling the operations, execution, planning and decor all in one. The operations went by so smoothly, our families did not have to care about one single thing and everything was taken care of for us. They were on their toes throughout. The decor was impeccable! They executed on our vision and how! All the long calls, excel sheets, emails, they made everything worth it.
