Planned a wedding event at the hotel, and got a package deal including rooms, food and decor. Food was good. Apart from that, had an annoying experience. The property doesn’t honor promises made e.g., as part of our package, we were told a suite will be made available for the bride, which was not given to us saying guests have extended, when we were getting the option to book a suite on spot on Marriott’s app - in case a suite was not available, why would Marriott’s website show us the inventory? They promised to add my Marriott Loyalty number to the invoice, which wasn’t done - have sent them five reminders to correct the bill, and they haven’t sent me the bill yet. Their empaneled decorator (Anil) charged us additional for some customizations we requested but really fell short of his promises - he asked us to pay for a DJ license which he had no proof of purchasing at all despite repeated requests. The decor was also not done an hour AFTER our guests had arrived. All in all, it was a very mixed experience. The hotel staff really needs to professionalize the experience for their guests - we don’t want to spend hours trying to sort out things which were promised during the agreement, that’s why we choose the name of Marriott, please don’t sully it. In case you don’t want a headache, avoid this property, and if you do chose to come here, please put everything they verbally promise in the contract. Good thing was the food, special thanks to chef Balvinder, we enjoyed the breakfast next day as well - being fair and giving 3 stars for the food and the venue which was decent, taking away two stars for their sales team for lack of professionalism and for their empaneled decorator who wanted payment without delivery of service or proof of expenditure on the license he “bought” in our name.
