An Easy-going, Fun-loving Inter-Cultural Wedding In Goa

We are loving the idea of couples choosing to have their inter-cultural or inter-faith wedding in a neutral location, usually a destination wedding. Abha and Aditya had their North-South wedding with two ceremonies in Goa, and it looked like an absolute blast! The couple wore some fab outfits, and the entire vibe of the wedding was like an extended party- our fave kind! Our story starts behind the screens of our phones. Aditya and I met on a dating app, instantly hit it off, and the rest is history. We were smitten in love for almost two years until the day he finally popped the question in Tulum, Mexico.

Our wedding took place on January 21, 2024. When people talk about an intercultural wedding, the assumption is that there might have been a tug of war when it came to deciding which ceremony goes which way. But in reality, our families have started to put their happiness above all. We never faced a lot of friction or too many intercultural marriage challenges. Our families were in fact very excited that we were FINALLY getting married!! From the get go, we knew we wanted our wedding to be the best of both North and South Indian cultures. We had sundowner pheras as well as an early morning muhurtham so both families could experience these new customs and celebration patterns. We didn’t have too many pre-wedding ceremonies except a small puja, and our other events were Phoolon ki Haldi and a Bollywood themed Sangeet night. We also kept it all minimal so our guests get to enjoy the location as well. We both are extremely fun loving and easy going and we wanted our wedding to reflect that as well. We have fun games and loads of dancing and great drinks in all our events. The wedding tantra, our wedding planners, helped us execute our vision to the T. The decor and management was even better than we had imagined.

We couldn't have been happier with the arrangements. The property was absolutely breathtaking and the food was to die for. Chef Tanmoy and his team are excellent. The staff was super cooperative and made event execution a breeze. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the location and the hotel amenities and pool.
Wedding Planning: The Wedding Tantra
From the moment we had our first conversation, we knew they were the ones we wanted to trust for our wedding planning. After a year of planning and so many conversations with Janice and Adithya, they managed to bring our vision to reality in the most beautiful manner. Every element of the decor was better than we had ever imagined it to be and they managed to make our wedding a wonderful fusion of two cultures. The room allocation part coould have been handled slightly better but apart from that we have nothing but wonderful things to say about them and would highly recommend them to all people looking for diligent, professional and the most amazing wedding planners.

TPP was the best decision we made during our wedding. The team was extremely flexible, funny, responsive and guided us really well throughout the whole process. They were extremely professional and did a fantastic job capturing our big day. The photos turned out beautifully and we were blown away with only the set of 40-50 pictures they have initially shared with us. Still waiting for the entire set of pictures/videos and cannot wait to see them as well!!
Makeup Artist: Makeovers by Sukanya
Sukanya was extremely punctual and very accommodating and did a great job executing my vision for the wedding. She is a true pro and knows exactly how to bring someone's vision to life. I usually go for very subtle makeup but the way she executed it, I was very happy with all my looks! Highly recommend her and her entire team!
