This Couple Had An Eco-friendly Cruelty-free Vegan Wedding With Some Amazing Ideas!

What do you do when the bride is a Hindu and the groom Catholic? You can either have a fusion wedding or even better- an environmentally conscious wedding! This couple had a cool new concept wedding in Mumbai- an eco-friendly vegan wedding, which was a non-ritual wedding where the couple exchanged their vows against the setting sun! The wedding was planned by Two Fat Ladies , who incorporated some neat new ideas and shot by Gaurav Hingne .

No real flowers were used during the wedding
Tree plantation was done as part of the celebration
Guests were requested not to wear silk
They had pottery as a guest activity in the sangeet!
Guests showered bird seed on couple after their varmala
The bride used cruelty-free PETA approved brands for her makeup
They distributed glass bottles, cloth napkins and bird feeders to inculcate eco friendly habits amongst guests
This was also a pet friendly wedding with doggies galore

- They had a unique wedding invite on seed paper
- No tissue paper or plastic bags were used during 2 days

The entire menu for 2 days was Vegan- vegan chaas, vegan curd rice, vegan omllette, vegan tea and vegan coffee!

Toiletries in bathrooms were replaces with cruelty-free products
Overall, we love the efforts this couple went to , to save the environment and their wedding is a blueprint for all future couples who are green -conscious.
